BentPropIn 2012-2015, the InvenTeam made 4 trips to Palau, sponsored by BentProp. BentProp is an organization dedicated to finding and identifying lost aircraft and airmen from WWII.

Joining Hands 2018In 2018, our team traveled to American Samoa for an ROV workshop with students at local Samoan universities and high schools. After connecting with the students there, we used our ROVs to search and study geothermal vents in the Pacific Ocean.

Joining Hands 2019In 2019, a small group of our team members traveled to American Samoa for a teacher workshop called Joining Hands. For the week that we were there, we taught teachers STEM skills, including how to operate ROVs.

Key Largo 2020In early 2020, the Stockbridge InvenTeam travelled to Key Largo, Florida to test our new lander, that will be able to identify benthic species in the ocean. While in Key Largo, we participated in a 3-day long workshop, dedicated to our oceans and marine life.

Our Work With MITAfter the Key Largo trip, we worked with the MIT InvenTeams to present our lander at the Michigan State College of Engineering. We now have a patent pending on our lander. Alongside our pending patent, we also have a full patent on our underwater camera and water quality monitoring system.
